Her words of encouragement filled the room in January when she spoke to our young ladies. The Miss Bixby Scholarship contestants listened closely when Sherry spoke about the challenges she faced in her youth. She also shared that if you truly believe in yourself as you go through life, each adversity will become a quest to reach for the stars and beyond. Sherry is a beloved friend and mentor. I appreciate who she is."
